Occult Chambers is a third person survival horror adventure video game set in the valleys of the Himalayas. The game explores the horror elements of Occult Rituals and the fantastical creatures from the rich deep Indian mythology. It is being developed by BornMonkie, an Indian studio based in Hyderabad India, with a team of 10. The game drew inspiration from atmospheric games like Bio Shock, Amnesia and Tomb Raider. BornMonkie has been working on the game for the past 1.5 years. The game essentially introduces the weird, unsettling subculture of Indian mythology. And this is a breath of fresh air and a truly original setting, something that no one has done before and that fans of horror and action-horror would like. You will also see this significant architecture throughout the game. The game does not to include Gunplay and modern weapons. The player starts out defenseless (where the horror elements are at its peak) and slowly transitions into action horror as the player picks up abilities to defend himself. Numerous frightening rituals and occult activities will be explored in the game and presented to the players as puzzles. In a way, the puzzle allows the player to perform the ceremony. With a wide array of environmental puzzles featuring mystical themes and ritualistic problem mechanics, the puzzle designs are distinctive and one of a kind.
